As a key member of our engineering team, the Enterprise Infrastructure Strategist will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions.

The successful candidate will have proven expertise in platform architecture, design principles, and automation tools. They will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiencies, and ensure the reliability and efficiency of our platform operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to automate and improve deployment processes and infrastructure management.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively address potential bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and ensure best practices in software delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and teams.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Ensure security best practices are integrated into the development and deployment processes.
  • Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders to align on technology roadmap and progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of platform architecture and design principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Understanding of networking concepts and services, including load balancing, DNS, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Dynatrace).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
