As a Security Operations Center Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and managing documented compliance policies to ensure the security of our systems and data. Your primary function will be to oversee security applications and infrastructures, review access to systems, applications, and facilities, and conduct vulnerability scans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute daily security operations and support
  • Manage security applications and infrastructures
  • Review systems, applications, and facilities access
  • Conduct and/or assist with vulnerability assessments
  • Patch and report on in-scope environments
  • Assist with vendor support
  • Perform maintenance activities for applications and infrastructure
  • Respond to incidents and events
  • Assist with documentation and policy creation
  • Interact with technology teams

Requirements:

  • 1 year of IT experience including security and compliance
  • Technical knowledge (security and compliance) - working experience with network, compute, and/or application security technologies
  • Strong understanding of the OSI model
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Inquisitive, motivated, and creative
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • A self-starter who takes initiative
