Job Overview

This position is a key role in designing and developing next-generation security systems for vehicles. The ideal candidate will have experience in various related domains, including automotive security systems engineering, cloud connectivity & security, body controller module, and keyless entry module design, development, and testing.

The successful System Security Engineer / Sr. Engineer / Lead will focus on validating and implementing security solutions for vehicle gateways, body control modules, and vehicle access control modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to define features and functional requirements.
  2. Be aware of advancements in automotive security threats and countermeasures.
  3. Represent system requirements and review their implementation during software sprints.
  4. Define testing and validation requirements for security systems.
  5. Support stakeholders by responding to customer and stakeholder queries concerning security system feature definition and issues.

Skillset:

  • Automotive Engineering:
    • Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronics architecture.
    • Awareness of various vehicle domains, systems, and components.
    • Experience in systems development methodology – use case elicitation, requirements management, functions analysis & allocation, architecture design, verification & validation.
  • General:
    • Ability to communicate complex ideas seamlessly and persuasively to peers, management, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
    • Good technical knowledge, planning, and organization skills in relevant areas.
    • Good team collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
