Job Posting

  • We are looking for an experienced RPG programmer to fill a critical role in our organization.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in iSeries/AS400/RPG programming, with a strong background in SQLRPGLE and Query/400.
  • They should be proficient in ILE Advanced concepts, including procedures, service programs, functions, and free RPG coding syntax.
  • Additionally, the candidate should have experience with complex SQL concepts and programming, as well as FTP concepts and automation.
  • Responsibilities include performing iSeries/AS400 technical support and operations, CL programming skills for automation, and providing technical support during testing.
  • The candidate should also be able to assist in deployment and provide post-deployment support, interact with internal teams independently, and be experienced in iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS).

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in iSeries/AS400/RPG programming
  • Strong knowledge of SQLRPGLE and Query/400
  • Experience with ILE Advanced concepts
  • Experience with complex SQL concepts and programming
  • Experience with FTP concepts and automation
  • Excellent understanding of Database, DDS, sub files, RPG III or later & RPGLE programming concepts
  • Excellent understanding of CL & OS/400 commands
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL/400 and other AS/400 utilities
