The Training Operations Manager role is responsible for overseeing the entire scope of training programs at an Approved Training Organization (ATO) that trains aviation professionals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations related to training at the ATO.
  • Plan and schedule training sessions, including wet training with cabin crew.
  • Hire and onboard trainers.
  • Communicate with regulatory bodies to obtain or renew approvals/licenses.
  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and files for students and trainers.
  • Ensure students meet required qualifications before commencing training.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and paperwork.
  • Welcome and support students throughout their training.
  • Conduct exams as exam supervisor during theory tests.
  • Provide assistance to students during training and organize refresher training for instructors.
  • Stay up-to-date on new regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Verify instructor licenses and approvals.
  • Support the Head of Training with other tasks as needed.
