Senior Business Development Lead
Job Description:We are seeking a Senior Business Manager to drive our business development efforts in the mapped market. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating relationships with travel agents, identifying new opportunities for growth, and driving revenue expansion.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the travel industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to extract valuable insights from data. They should be able to develop and implement effective business strategies to achieve revenue goals, maintain rate competitiveness, and exceed inventory levels.
The role involves collaborating closely with our team to establish and maintain partner relationships, provide training to travel agent partners on our product, and prepare market intelligence reports.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Onboarding and Relationship Management: Engaging with travel agents, managing accounts end-to-end, and driving sustainable performance.
- Portfolio Management and Driving Growth: Developing business plans, ensuring inventory levels surpass demand, and maintaining rate competitiveness.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Establishing and maintaining partner relationships, providing training to travel agent partners, and preparing geography-wise and service-wise sales plans.
Requirements:
A Master's degree from a reputable institution with 2-6 years of experience in Sales, Travel Trade, Key Account Management, Contracting, or B2B Sales is required. Experience in handling multiple accounts as a partner is preferred. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is essential.
