Market Access Director Opportunity

Our organization seeks a seasoned Market Access Director to lead strategic market access initiatives, ensuring optimal product pricing, reimbursement, and patient access within the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive market access strategies to maximize product value and minimize barriers to access.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and health economics analysis to identify key market trends, payer requirements, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR), Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Regulatory, to develop compelling evidence supporting product value.
  • Negotiate effectively with payers, government bodies, and healthcare authorities to secure optimal pricing, reimbursement, and access conditions.
  • Prepare and submit high-quality reimbursement dossiers, value dossiers, pricing applications, and HTA submissions.
  • Monitor policy developments, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to ensure proactive adaptation of market access strategies.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to inform product launch planning and lifecycle management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including payers, KOLs, industry bodies, and internal teams.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Market Access, HEOR, Pricing & Reimbursement, or related function within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, pricing & reimbursement pathways, HTA processes, and payer dynamics.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful market access strategies, preparing reimbursement dossiers, and negotiating with payers.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
