Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Billing and Insurance Coordinator to join our healthcare team.

This role is responsible for managing in-patient and out-patient billing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital policies.

  • Coordinate with insurance companies, third-party administrators (TPAs), and patients for smooth cashless approvals and claims processing.
  • Prepare and verify bills, maintain records, and ensure timely submission of claims.
  • Follow up on pending claims, denials, and settlements.
  • Liaise with doctors, patients, and internal departments for effective billing closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage billing processes from receipt to payment.
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
  • Process claims and communicate with payers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
  • Maintain records and provide reports as required.
Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Degree in Commerce or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in hospital billing or a related field.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications.
