This role requires an individual with expertise in dental billing software and a deep understanding of insurance claim processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively collaborate with front office staff and patients to resolve billing inquiries and account balances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Submit claims electronically and manually with accuracy and timeliness
  • Review patient records, treatment plans, and insurance coverage to ensure proper coding and documentation
  • Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims; investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor accounts receivable reports and maintain current aging reports
  • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues and obtain payment status
  • Work with front office staff and patients to clarify billing inquiries and account balances
  • Evaluate compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental billing guidelines

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of at least 2 years with claims and AR
  • Experience with dental management software
  • Excellent attention to detail and numbers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Full English proficiency
  • Microsoft Office skills and proficiency with G-suite
