IFS Functional Consultant Job Description

Gogh Solutions seeks a dynamic and dedicated professional with rich functional experience in IFS applications.

Job Overview

The Senior Functional Consultant will be at the forefront of IFS implementations as part of a Global team of professionals.

Working closely with the Solution Architect (SA) and other Consultants, you will create the Solution Design Document (SDD) by owning specific sections to completion.

Core responsibilities include aligning the IFS Application with the Customer's business processes, running functional workshops, documenting requirements, and configuring the IFS applications to meet specific business needs.

You will lead functional consultants and assist them in achieving their performance goals.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Clients, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects to understand business needs and operational processes.
  • Run workshops for Clients to map and document business processes, use cases, and requirements within the IFS application.
  • Assist in completing the Business Requirement Document and Solution Design Document outlining project deliverables.
  • Structure and execute demos of the IFS application for clients and internal team members.
  • Provide training, education, coaching, and assistance to team members as needed.
  • Maintain strong and professional relationships with Clients.
  • Configure the IFS application to meet functional requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Management/Computer Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Strong industry knowledge within the Field Service Management space.
  • 4-6 years of experience as a Functional Consultant working with IFS FSM and/or IFS Cloud.
  • Experience in IFS App Gen, Aurena, or IFS cloud.
  • Strong expertise in IFS Cloud modules, configurations, and integrations.
  • Practical experience of having gone through at least 2 IFS implementations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
