We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, preferably with experience in DPR preparation for social infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and engineer social infrastructure projects, including schools, hospitals, community centers, sanitation facilities, water supply structures, etc.
  • Review and finalize structural designs, drawings, and detailed estimates.
  • Carry out structural analysis and ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC, and applicable international standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other specialists to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Assess foundation design, load calculations, earthquake-resistant design, and durability aspects.
  • Prepare design basis reports, structural BOQs, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct a review of DPR deliverables (draft and final reports) from a structural perspective.
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams and support capacity building.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Possession of post-graduate degree in Structural Engineering is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering design for buildings and social infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in structural design software, including STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with IS codes, IRC standards, and international guidelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Background
  • Previous experience in DPR preparation for social infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in both government and donor-funded assignments.
  • Familiarity with sustainable and disaster-resilient design practices.
