**Structural Design Engineer Position**


The role of a Structural Design Engineer is pivotal in the oil and gas industry. This expert professional is responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the integrity of complex facilities from conceptual studies to detailed engineering.


A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of industry-specific codes and standards, as well as experience with structural analysis and design software such as STAAD.Pro, SACS, and ABAQUS.


The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Performing advanced structural analysis and design for complex structures, including reinforced concrete and steel structures, pipe racks, platforms, foundations, and buildings.
  • Designing specialized foundations, such as dynamic foundations for large rotating machinery, and pile foundations for complex structures.
  • Conducting comprehensive in-place, fatigue, seismic, and blast analysis for onshore and offshore structures.
  • Developing detailed engineering deliverables, including technical specifications, calculation reports, and engineering drawings.
  • Utilizing 3D modeling tools to perform clash detection and resolution.
  • Leading project management and coordination, collaborating with other engineering disciplines, and managing project schedules, budgets, and change requests.
  • Conducting structural integrity assessments of existing facilities, developing inspection and reliability programs, and providing technical support for in-service structures.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with at least 8 years of relevant experience in a high-risk industry, preferably in oil and gas, petrochemicals, or energy.
