Job Title: Principal Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership in the design of structures, including foundation, steel structure, and concrete structure designs calculation in compliance with industry standards.

  1. Developing and implementing engineering designs that meet project requirements and adhere to company standards.
  2. Coordinating with other engineering disciplines (piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) for seamless project execution.
  3. Preparing civil and structural drawings, specifications, and design calculations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing structural solutions for industrial, commercial, and institutional projects of various sizes with a focus on industrial projects.
  • Designing shallow and deep foundations, concrete piles, underground concrete vaults and tunnels, and slab reinforcement for a variety of loading conditions.
  • Designing steel structures including building, additions, access platforms including ladder and stair details, trusses, two-legged bents and four-legged support towers.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong technical skills and experience in structures engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to interpret and apply relevant codes and standards.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Minimum 14-18 years of experience in structures engineering.
  • Experience with projects in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Master's degree in civil or structural engineering.
