Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aerostructures Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering services group, you will play a vital role in developing technical solutions to solve complex problems and achieve business objectives.

With a strong background in mechanical engineering and aerospace structures, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and building structures, machines, devices, systems, and mechanical processes.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with structural and performance goals, and engage in training sessions to enhance your technical knowledge and skillsets relevant to the role. Additionally, you will collaborate with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and regulatory bodies to influence design and compliance strategies.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in the Aerostructures domain and possess a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. This is a on-site role requiring physical presence at our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop aircraft structural components
  • Apply basic principles of aerospace structures and material selection
  • Work under the guidance of the Lead Engineer to develop CAD models and detailed drawings
  • Assist in interpreting technical requirements and translating them into design solutions
  • Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into iterative improvements
Requirements
  • Understanding of 3D/2D design, Modeling, and Assembly Creation methodologies
  • Understanding of manufacturing techniques and Engineering Drawings
  • Knowledge of UG NX must and Catia V5 is a plus
