Aerospace Stress Analysis Engineer

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the extraction of material data, geometry details and fastener specifications from part and assembly drawings. You will also extract loads, stresses from Finite Element Modeling (FEM) and generate detailed finite element models.

You will conduct static stress analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structural components and size primary and secondary structural parts for static, fatigue & Damage Tolerance (DT) requirements. Additionally, you will develop mitigation techniques for low margins of safety and prepare stress certification reports.

The ideal candidate should have good working experience on Static, Fatigue & Damage Tolerance analysis of Aircraft structural components and plant engineering concessions of Aircraft structural (Primary and Secondary) components.

  • Candidate should have profound knowledge on Stress analysis, aircraft loads and aircraft structures.
  • Candidate should be aware of certification requirements and have experience with static & fatigue stress certification reports.
  • Experience in co-ordinating with design and stress teams is essential.
  • Sound knowledge of structural design principles, aircraft loads and aircraft structures are expected.
  • Must have experience in static analysis & sizing of Aircraft structural components for metallic and composites.
  • Must have experience in the preparation of stress certification reports.
  • Working experience in concessions is required.
