Structural Engineer Role Summary

This is a highly skilled position requiring an expert Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and validate aerospace and defence structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop primary and secondary aircraft/UAV structures using composite and metallic materials.
  • Perform structural analysis (static, dynamic, fatigue, and impact) using tools like ANSYS.
  • Support weight optimization and structural efficiency improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for load cases derived from flight, ground, and environmental conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure structural integrity and manufacturability.
  • Participate in structural testing (static load tests, vibration tests, drop tests) and correlate results with analysis.
  • Maintain designs compliance with aerospace standards such as MIL-STD, ASTM, or DGCA/CAA regulations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical / Aerospace / Mechanical / Civil Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft/UAV structural design principles.
  • Hands-on experience with ANSYS software.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA, Fusion 360.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Experience in composite layup design and structural bonding techniques.
  • Familiarity with aerodynamic load calculations and flight load data.
