Business Development Manager

We are seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial-minded professional to fill the role of a Bid & Offer Manager.

This includes developing value propositions and strategies, identifying partners, managing risks, and ensuring offers and project references are ready.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales activities in cooperation with Technical Direction and Business Organizations.
  • Ensuring offers and project references readiness.
  • Anticipating next major RFI/RFP and associated risks.
  • Supporting coordination and defining action plans for major RFI/RFP.
  • Supporting new business strategy and development.
  • Preparing documents required for bids.
  • Bid management and support.
  • Qualifying business and strategies to answer.
  • Preparing and organizing Go/NoGo– Bid/NoBid meetings.
  • Ensuring group offers are used effectively and maximizing the value of the offer.
  • Coordinating the bid team (technical, business, legal, quality, center of expertise, partners).
  • Checking the quality of the offer and financial form prior to the offer review.
  • Storing information on the CRM tool.
  • Organizing and attending offer reviews.
  • Performing lessons learned from each CFT.
  • Analyzing risks for each bid and alerting BU/Management/TD as required.
  • Transversal activities and capitalization.
  • Issuing KPIs from the CRM tool and checking data accuracy.
  • Reporting to Management, BU, TD, and Pre-Sales Head with adapted frequency and format.
  • Monitoring adherence to the bid process and alerting if not respected.
  • Analyzing the maturity of the bid process by Business Unit and defining action plans.
  • Performing analysis for each semester for main reasons for win/lose.
  • Capturing best practices, offers, and templates to maximize win rate and reuse.
  • Explain and enforcing the BID process, method, and tools.
