About the Role

The Risk department is at the core of Revolut, ensuring business security through monitoring performance and implementing controls. The Controls (1LoD) team plays a crucial role in new business initiatives across functions, products, and regions.

We seek a Business Risk Manager to play a pivotal role in creating the first line of defense for our Private Bank. This role requires an analytical mind to develop sustainable growth strategies aligned with operational risk frameworks.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Identifying, assessing, documenting, and reviewing risks in our Private Bank
  • Designing, implementing, and testing controls
  • Developing and testing key procedures
  • Creating and reviewing key risk indicators
  • Registering risk events, managing, and delivering risk incident reports

Requirements include:

  • A 2:1 degree from a top university
  • 6+ years of experience in operational risk management in financial services
  • Experience in private banking or wealth management is essential
  • Proven experience with risk identification, monitoring, and controls (implementation and testing)
  • Previous examples of practically interpreting and organizing complex data
  • A solid track record of achievement, having won competition awards (academic, professional, or sport)
  • The ability to quickly assume responsibilities
  • An organized and methodological approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
