Job Description

A Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC) professional plays a pivotal role in the implementation and management of an organization's governance framework. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in risk management, security practices, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and participate in the implementation of client initiatives to reduce technology risk, improve governance, and enhance compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate business and IT risks to identify potential threats and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and implement IT security standards, procedures, and controls to manage risks and improve client security positioning through process improvement, policy automation, and continuous evolution of capabilities.
  • Assess and evaluate information security threats and their impact on clients' IT environment.
  • Support senior team members in analyzing requirements and designing clients' information security posture, as well as legal, regulatory, and scheme security requirements.
  • Deliver work streams for clients in compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, EU GDPR, and Bahrain PDPL, and incident management disciplines.
  • Investigate internal and external information security risk and exception assessments, assess incidents, vulnerability management, scans, patching status, secure baselines, penetration test results, phishing, and social engineering tests and attacks.
  • Document and report control failures and gaps to stakeholders, providing remediation guidance and preparing management reports to track remediation activities.
  • Stay current on best practices and technological advancements, serving as a technical resource for security assessment and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned based on business requirements.
