Business Development Manager Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to oversee a defined territory of key groups and accounts, build effective relationships with customers, and drive sales through strategic distribution increases of our portfolio of products.Main Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate, close, and manage contracts with clients
  • Develop comprehensive business plans for key groups and accounts
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key customers to ensure alignment and progress
  • Liaise with the legal department when preparing agreements to ensure compliance
  • Track customer spend in line with agreements to optimize revenue growth
  • Set and achieve agreed sales and cycle objectives to meet business targets
  • Target customer base with promotional strategies ensuring sales targets are achieved
Requirements:
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare customer submissions to inform business decisions
  • Experience in managing multiple accounts and developing business plans to drive growth and revenue
  • Knowledge of the wine industry and market trends to stay ahead of competitors
