Strategic Human Resources Director

About the Role

This role oversees all aspects of HR operations within a manufacturing setup. Key responsibilities include leading and managing administration, payroll, statutory compliance, audits, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with business objectives and ensure full adherence to regulatory requirements.
  2. Direct end-to-end recruitment processes for both technical and non-technical positions, focusing on efficient talent acquisition in a high-volume environment.
  3. Lead initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness, drive process automation, and maintain best-in-class standards across HR functions.
  4. Maintain accurate labor law knowledge and ensure compliance through regular monitoring and record-keeping.
  5. Facilitate employee relations, resolve grievances, and foster a collaborative work climate.
  6. Guide the implementation of HR policies and procedures to support business objectives and statutory mandates.
  7. Collaborate with leadership and business heads to address people challenges, succession planning, and workforce readiness in the manufacturing domain.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience managing HR operations in a manufacturing setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR processes.
  • Proven expertise in fast-paced recruitment, employee relations, and HR policy deployment.
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite, along with a process-oriented mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities to drive transformational change.
