Leadership Opportunity

We seek a visionary leader to build and shape the School of Government at MIT WPU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a strategic vision for the school, defining its academic and research direction.
  • Lead and motivate teaching staff to achieve excellence in governance education.
  • Cultivate an environment where students thrive and become leaders in society.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and leadership to drive synergies between education, research, and community engagement.
Principal Accountabilities:
  1. Oversee Academic Programs: Develop and implement strategic plans, evaluate institutional processes, and ensure alignment with the school's mission.
  2. Design curricula that address governance needs globally and meet national standards.
  3. Lead social initiatives, including National Legislative Council, Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad, National Women's Parliament, and others.
  4. Plan and recruit faculty to deliver teaching, research, and consultancy services effectively.
  5. Ensure continuous faculty development and optimum resource utilization.
  6. Track local, regional, and national legislative issues, developing strategies to inform stakeholders.
  7. Collect and analyze data to enhance program reach.
