About this Role
A Chief Executive Officer will lead a company's next phase of growth, expanding markets, upgrading operations and technology, and building a high-performance culture.
- Own the enterprise P&L and value creation;
- Set strategy, translate into roadmaps, and deliver outcomes;
- Take ownership across commercial, operations, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, finance, HR, IT, compliance, and ESG;
- Drive market expansion with focus on Oil & Gas and new verticals (Defense, Railways, Infrastructure);
- Build a predictable order book and margin profile; negotiate long-cycle contracts and key accounts;
- Modernize manufacturing: improve throughput, OEE, yield, and first-time-right quality;
- Deploy capex with IRR/ROI discipline;
- Lead digital/ERP transformation; institutionalize data-driven governance;
- Strengthen supply chain resilience—vendor development for alloys;
- Establish a performance culture—clear KRAs/KPIs and leadership bench, with safety and compliance as non-negotiables;
- Represent the company with customers, JV/tech partners, auditors, banks, and industry bodies; uphold brand and governance standards.
Key Qualifications
- 18+ years in B2B manufacturing/industrial engineering with demonstrated P&L ownership and scale-up results;
- Track record in driving growth across domestic and international markets, securing large, multi-year contracts; Oil & Gas, manufacturing, or heavy engineering background preferred;
- Strong command of plant operations, quality systems, supply chain, and capex deployment;
- Solid financial acumen and stakeholder management;
- People leader who builds accountable teams and a performance culture;
- Education: Engineering + MBA/PGDM desirable.
