
Culinary Operations Manager

The Culinary Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining an efficient food production process by analyzing quality and cost of food production.
- Implement effective budget management and monitor time utilization.
- Provide ongoing training and ensure adherence to corporate standards.
- Ensure safe, high-quality food products and deliver exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Develop systems and procedures to enhance service and product quality.
- Achieve goals in a non-assertive manner.
- Manage set budget and optimize time allocation.
- Deliver comprehensive training programs and enforce compliance with corporate standards.
- Guarantee the highest standards of food safety, quality, and presentation.
- Design and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Work collaboratively within a technical/specialized area to elevate service and product quality.
- Achieve objectives in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
- Conduct regular food tastings to maintain quality standards.
- Address discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate electronic requisitions based on forecasted figures.
- Supervise the Dinner Service Line to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor production levels using the Culinary Checklist.
- E nsure strict adherence to Public Health regulations at all times.
- Possess advanced culinary skills, leadership abilities, and extensive experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the profession (Quality Hotels and Restaurants).
- At least 2 years of experience in a senior role within a reputable luxury hospitality establishment or upscale cruise line.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Effective communication with senior management.
- Able to lead and make informed decisions.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Experienced in coaching subordinates.
- Cost-conscious and quality-driven.
- Flexible work schedule with ability to adapt under pressure.
- Collaborative team player with international colleagues.
- Cruise Ship Experience/5-star Hotel background.
- Fluency in additional languages.
