Project Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our strategic evaluation and decision-making process for new product development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business, technology, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and Recommendation: Lead the "buy vs build" analysis of a new product from initial market and capability assessment through recommendation and implementation planning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business, technology, and vendor management teams to evaluate strategic options, considering cost, speed to market, technical fit, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Assessment Backlog Management: Manage the assessment backlog by prioritizing evaluation criteria, gathering cross-functional insights, and ensuring alignment with business strategy and product roadmap.
  • Risk Assessment and Planning: Facilitate risk assessment, dependency mapping, and scenario planning to recommend the most viable solution—whether in-house build, vendor purchase, or hybrid approach.
