Area Sales Manager for Lab Chemicals

The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Area Sales Manager for Lab Chemicals to join our team at Avantor. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our lab chemicals to key accounts and new channel partners/distributors. Your goal will be to maintain existing relationships with organizations distributing our products, services, and/or solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Sales: Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve revenue targets and control expenses.
- Relationship Building: Work with channel partners to drive specific opportunities and establish high-level customer and distributor relationships.
- Customer Insights: Understand current customer processes and applications and communicate customer technology product requirements to internal stakeholders.
- Communication: Utilize various communication and engagement methodologies, including quarterly business reviews, executive meetings, and technical collaborations.
- Employee Relationships: Demonstrate effective employee relationships built on trust, teamwork, and accountability.
Requirements:
- Education: B.Sc / B.Tech / M.Sc Degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or Chemical, Genetic Engineering degree or other science-related field required. MBA will be an added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of chemical sales experience required.
