Commercial Director for Specialty Chemicals

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Director for Specialty Chemicals to join our team at Champion Specialty Chemicals. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have:
- Promote our product range by building strong relationships with key customers.
- Maintain a close interaction with customers to ensure sales budgets are met.
- Independently visit customers' offices and factories to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Develop aggressive sales pitches during customer interactions.
- Evaluate credit worthiness of customers and obtain market references.
- Foster long-term business relationships with customers.
- Coordinate with Sales coordinators to ensure high-level customer servicing through the dispatch process.
You will be expected to:
- Track monthly sales to key customers.
- Prepare customer visit plans to efficiently engage with customers on a regular basis.
- Prepare sales reports and track sales versus budgets.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A motivation for sales and a proven ability to drive revenue growth.
- The capability to take independent meetings with customers.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Very good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Maturity and a professional demeanor.
This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of the specialty chemicals industry and excellent customer-facing skills. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of success in sales or a related field.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
