About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned commercial real estate professional with a strong accounting and finance background to join our team as a Commercial Real Estate Investment Analyst. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by providing expert financial analysis, modeling, and underwriting services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and refine dynamic Excel-based pro forma models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Underwriting & Deal Assessment: Conduct thorough underwriting of new deals across various CRE assets, ensuring robust financial validation.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze rent rolls, operating memoranda, T12s, and market comps to derive actionable insights.
  • Asset Management Support: Monitor asset performance, compile detailed reports, and drive asset management strategies across diverse portfolio types.
  • Investor Communications: Prepare investment memos, investor updates, and performance dashboards using strong written English to ensure clarity and transparency.
  • Strategic Insights: Contribute to the company's long-term growth strategy by supporting acquisition, development, and asset management initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3 – 5 years in CRE underwriting/investment analysis (preferably in the hospitality sector), supported by a strong accounting and finance foundation.
  • Hospitality Expertise: Prior experience in hospitality real estate with a clear understanding of key metrics (P&L, REVPAR, ADR, occupancy).
  • Asset Management: Proven ability in monitoring asset performance and compiling reports that drive strategic decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written English skills for crafting nuanced, investor-focused updates and communications.
  • Proactivity & Innovation: Demonstrated ability to underwrite deals, enhance existing financial models, and adapt strategies for evolving market conditions.
