Job Title: Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for leading initiatives to engage potential students and business partners, generating sales for our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, telesales, and customer relationship management. You will be working closely with our marketing team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to achieve sales goals.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Telesales: Reach out to given leads and cold call partner universities to promote our services.
  • Identify counseling seekers and coordinate meetings to discuss their study abroad options.
  • Coordinate sales and payment collection processes to ensure timely payment from clients.
  • Collect details of potential study abroad students and provide them with information about our services.
  • Initial Counseling: Shortlist universities and courses that meet the student's requirements, providing them with guidance on the application process.
  • Foster relationships with foreign universities and institutions to establish partnerships that benefit our organization.
  • Manage leads, follow-ups, meeting schedules, and payments using a diary to stay organized and focused.
  • Maintain basic event designs on Canva and coordinate events at schools to promote our services.
  • Oversee office space and maintenance team coordination to ensure a smooth work environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA in a relevant field.
  • 1-3 years of prior industry experience in business development and telesales.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Focused and goal-oriented, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Sincere, non-smoker, and work enthusiast with innovative ideas and a passion for business development.
