About This Bookkeeper Role

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled professional to assume the role of bookkeeper accountant. This position entails maintaining accurate financial records, executing diverse bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Financial Transactions Support: Assist in day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable under supervision.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, entries, and adjustments.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
  • Document Processing: Prepare and process basic financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide support in preparing financial summaries and reports as needed.
  • Expense Tracking: Support monitoring and tracking expenses, budgets, and cash flow.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist senior accountants in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Audit Support: Provide basic support during audits and financial reviews by gathering requested documents.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with relevant accounting standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, with internships preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite; basic Excel skills sufficient.
  • BASIC ACCOUNTING PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES;
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions effectively.
  • Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
