Job Title: Strategic Procurement Specialist

Job Description:

This pivotal role requires a seasoned procurement professional to facilitate seamless integration between entities, adhering to the highest standards of efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely procurement support to Operations in relation to purchasing Project Procurement items.
  • Compile RFIs, conduct quality reviews with Engineering, manage bid evaluations, and provide purchase recommendations.
  • Coordinate with international suppliers for bid clarification and update project status with US counterparts.
  • Process supplier invoices, tag them to projects, and complete tracking until final processing by Finance.
  • Collaborate with Procurement leadership and project Management teams to provide monthly purchasing updates.

Technical Deliverables:

  • Approved manufacturer lists
  • Prepare RFQs, evaluate responses, and negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers.
  • Tabulate commercial bid evaluations and issue purchase recommendations.
  • Coordinate contractual, commercial, taxation, insurance, and legal issues with internal stakeholders.
  • Raise/revise purchase orders and resolve queries as required.
  • Maintain purchase reports and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

We seek an experienced procurement specialist with 11-12 years of experience in EPC environments within Oil and Gas or Transmission Distribution industries.

Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of PO contract terms and conditions, logistics, and supplier qualification processes.
  • Experience in contract formulation, systems, and processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with proficiency in MS Office.
