As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support and maintenance services for both production and development systems. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting issues, implementing technology solutions, and ensuring the smooth operation of various software products across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
  • Collaborate with teams to perform tasks effectively and drive business results.

  • Providing timely solutions to problems affecting immediate teams and multiple teams.
  • Facilitating knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Monitoring system performance and proactively addressing potential issues to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA), Strong understanding of database management and optimization techniques, experience with backup and recovery strategies for Oracle databases, familiarity with performance tuning and troubleshooting of database systems, knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for database querying and scripting.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA) and a strong educational background in a relevant field.
