Network Infrastructure Professional

Job Overview:
  • Deploy and manage technology changes to support DC services.
  • Develop LAN infrastructure plans to meet end-user requirements.
  • Patch schedules for facilities to cable network equipment.
  • Design diagrams for Network Operations.
  • Manage inventory levels.
  • Create high-level implementation plans for RFCs.
  • Document pre- and post-checks for change verification.
  • Identify points of no return during deployment.
  • Support service uptime with documented best practices.
  • Implement changes without downtime or using cost-effective resources.
  • Document change risks and mitigation tactics.
  • Assess the impact of planned technology changes.
  • Maintain an infrastructure database and create detailed network diagrams.
  • Peer review and validate technical deployment plans.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Cisco Routing & Switching expertise.
  • Experience in setting up Exchange ULL COLO networks.
  • Ultra Low Latency environment experience.
  • CCNP/CCIE certification or equivalent.
  • Check Point CCSA/CCSE, Arista, Market data experience.
  • 5-6 years as a senior project engineer.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Strong experience in Financial Services.
  • Organised individual with multiple project handling skills.
  • Attention to detail under pressure.
