Nutrition Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team in Mumbai, India.

This role will involve conducting market research and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for growth within the territory. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of medical and nutritional science, as well as the evolving healthcare landscape and emerging digital trends.

  • Conduct market research and feasibility studies to analyze business development opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of medical and nutritional science, and its application in the healthcare industry.
  • Develop and execute customer engagement plans to generate demand for Abbott products.
  • Leverage customer segmentation data to inform account management strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) throughout the customer account.

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate the value proposition of Abbott's products to HCPs, anticipate objections, and gain clear commitment to recommending our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver consultative sales calls to expand HCP knowledge of nutritional interventions and measurable benefits of Abbott products.
  • Anticipate and manage objections, and gain clear commitment to recommending Abbott products.
  • Establish target customers and develop clear customer plans to achieve coverage, frequency, and call rate objectives.
  • Implement customer segmentation and identify new leads, customers, and ensure timely reporting of daily activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support patient education and influence customer choice of nutrition products.

Requirements:

  2. A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is required.
  3. Candidates must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with HCPs.
  4. A bachelor's degree in a related field such as nutrition, dietetics, or health sciences is preferred.
