Roto Flux is seeking an experienced Tool Room Quality Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, tooling, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Tool Knowledge: Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of GD&T engineering drawing, press tools, and machining.
- Customer Specifications: Obtain detailed specifications from customers and ensure production meets these specifications.
- Tooling Materials: Select and implement tooling materials and heat treatment processes.
- Quality Evaluation: Conduct geometric dimensioning & tolerancing and machined parts quality evaluation.
- Industrial Engineering: Apply industrial engineering and product development principles to improve tool room processes.
- Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, including new supplier development and audit.
- Certification: Support IATF certification audits and maintain internal auditor certification.
- Manufacturing Experience: Possess hands-on experience in manufacturing sheet metal parts, dies, and checking fixtures.
- Internal and External Audits: Conduct internal and external audits, including customer buyoff activities and QMS implementation.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in CMM, 3D scanning, process qualification, and validation.
- Customer Requirements: Understand and communicate customer requirements to the tool room team.
