This role will operate in the realm of data privacy and compliance. The key responsibility will be to support local legal and Privacy Office teams in implementing India's Data Protection Bill (DPDPA).

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the operationalization of India's DPDPA by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of data protection policies and procedures.
  • Review and approve PbD (Privacy by Design) assessments, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
  • Perform periodic monitoring on Personal Data Inventories to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
Compliance Operations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to complete risk profiles, assess business criticalities, and develop effective control measures through compliance risk assessments.
  • Monitor application compliance objectives and controls, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Support updates to ZTD Process Framework (Processes, Templates, etc.).
  • Remediate audit and inspection findings, ensuring timely resolution.
Supervision
  • Supervise a Quality & Compliance Analyst, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure success in their role.
Education and Experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Formal training and/or experience in Data Privacy, computer system validation space highly desired.
  • Relevant certification such as CISA, CRISC, or CIPT/CIPM is preferred.

Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in Information Technology.
  • 4+ years of experience in Regulatory (GxP & CSV) Compliance.
  • 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries supporting IT initiatives is a plus.

  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence through personal credibility, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Relentless dedication to customer satisfaction/excellence.
  • Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
Physical Position Requirements
  • Travel Requirements: 5%.
  • Work Hours: Ability to overlap up to 4 hours with US Eastern Standard Time.
