Data Protection Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Data Protection Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing data protection dashboards and alert queues for policy violations or anomalous activity.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of data protection tools and technologies, as well as experience working with global teams across multiple time zones.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and analyzing data protection dashboards and alert queues
- Validating alerts and gathering relevant logs or evidence
- Escalating incidents when necessary and documenting incident details clearly in ticketing or incident management systems
In addition, the ideal candidate will have strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skill Requirements:
- Proficiency in data protection tools (e.g., Netskope, Symantec, Microsoft)
- Solid understanding of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux environments
- Familiarity with SIEM products, ticketing systems, and incident response workflows
- Ability to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs) and malicious behaviors
- Capable of driving root cause analysis and coordinating remediation
Work Environment:
- Availability to work between 1:00 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST (minimum 3 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time Zone)
