Document Control Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to develop, document, and optimize support and service management processes in alignment with ITIL best practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Document ITIL-based workflows for Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management processes.
  • Translate complex technical procedures and support workflows into clear, actionable content for various audiences.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), process owners, and service managers to gather requirements, validate process flows, and ensure alignment with service goals.

The ideal candidate will have experience writing technical documentation in an IT support or customer service environment, a solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices, and strong skills in process mapping, technical writing, and SOP creation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely are also essential.

About the Role: As a Document Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our support and service management processes are well-documented, up-to-date, and aligned with industry best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and improve our documentation repository.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Document Development: Develop high-quality documentation for support and service management processes, including workflows, procedures, and guidelines.
  2. Process Improvement: Collaborate with process owners and SMEs to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
  3. Documentation Maintenance: Ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date, and make necessary updates to reflect changes in processes or policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., English, Communications, Technical Writing).
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
  • Strong skills in process mapping, technical writing, and SOP creation.
