Finance Manager for Multi-Unit Business

Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing end-to-end financial management for a portfolio of hotels and restaurants, with a focus on consolidation, compliance, and performance analysis.

The successful candidate will act as a bridge between unit-level finance teams and leadership, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory adherence, and business-driven insights.

The role will oversee key responsibilities such as consolidating monthly and annual accounts across all hotels and F&B outlets, preparing MIS reports, variance analysis, and dashboards for management, and managing statutory, tax, and internal audits specific to the hospitality industry.

In addition, the candidate will ensure compliance with IND-AS, GST, Income Tax, and hospitality sector-specific regulations, monitor cash flows, working capital, and treasury management at group level, and support annual budgeting and reforecasting for each hotel unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate monthly and annual accounts across all hotels and F&B outlets.
  • Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and dashboards for management.
  • Manage statutory, tax, and internal audits specific to the hospitality industry.
  • Ensure compliance with IND-AS, GST, Income Tax, and hospitality sector-specific regulations.
  • Monitor cash flows, working capital, and treasury management at group level.
  • Support annual budgeting and reforecasting for each hotel unit.
  • Standardize accounting processes and internal controls across properties.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Provide actionable insights on cost management, revenue streams, and profitability improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3–7 years post-qualification experience.
  • Prior experience in hospitality / multi-unit business is strongly preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of hotel accounting, tax compliance, and financial controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, hotel PMS (Opera, IDS, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
