Job Description

As a Planning Analyst, you will define and deliver set goals for the organization. You will partner across the firm to provide strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting. You will also be responsible for a wide range of activities including financial control, forecasting and budgeting, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of management reporting, development of new reporting capabilities, and advising on how to increase profitability and efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage annual and ongoing financial planning activities, providing business rationale and decisions for all month-end financial performance and forecasting.
  • Report on efficiency, analytics, and strategy, including but not limited to location strategy, span of control, reporting, and analytics.
  • Create financial business cases to support business initiatives.
  • Report on and monitor key metrics, drive data quality initiatives, and help define future needs of the product area.
  • Develop and track performance metrics, create presentations, and provide financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management.


Required Skills and Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required. Minimum 4 years of work experience with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint are necessary. Proficiency with data mining and manipulation of data sets is also required. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly are essential. Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management and execute on special projects/assignments with little lead time or information are also required.
