About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Management Trainee, Assistant Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end general ledger accounting, reconciliations, fixed assets, and financial reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create journal entries and book transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Review and perform month-end close activities in a timely manner.
  • Capitalize and maintain fixed assets, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage intercompany accounting and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Perform bank and investment reconciliations, and identify and clear reconciled items.
  • Conduct general ledger and fixed asset reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and address escheatment reconciliations.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • A graduate degree in finance (M.COM, etc.) with ICWA or CPA certification, or a qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and general ledger accounting, including month-end closing processes.
  • Familiarity with trend analysis for both profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
