Job Title: Senior Operations Manager

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of our organization, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and projects across various sites in India.

  • Purchasing of materials required for operations and maintenance, as well as project needs, across PAN India.

This involves preparation of contracts with service providers for turbine maintenance, releasing purchase orders in SAP for material requirements from multiple sites, and coordinating with site-in-charge personnel for material needs during high-wind seasons.

  • Reviewing site stocks through SAP to ensure availability of critical spares during high-wind seasons.
  • Developing new vendors as per requirements and sourcing materials from nearest locations to reduce costs and lead times.
  • Planning long-lead items like ABB spares, bearings, encoders, electrical control systems, lubricants for gearboxes, import materials, and critical spares well in advance to avoid shortages during high-wind seasons.
  • Preparing MIS reports and sending them to the Chief Supply Chain Officer for review and reference.
  • Initiating discussions with supply partners for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) models at all sites covering PAN India.
  • Budget planning for materials and services across PAN India fleets, ensuring spend within allocated budgets.
  • Preparing cash flow statements for materials and services, including LC planning for purchases.

Requirements:
