You will be responsible for corporate business development, selling Grip's offerings to target businesses and managing the sales funnel and the sales cycle end to end. This includes prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
You will interact with CXOs and startup founders on a daily basis, understanding the newest business models in the Indian startup sector.
Achieve new to grip businesses/partnerships every month and ensure repeat business with existing partners.
Basic understanding and ability to negotiate term sheets, legal contracts, and documentation is required. Credit risk analysis, risk mitigation, credit monitoring for existing partners on an ongoing basis is also necessary.
This is a 360-degree role involving cross-functional collaboration in building SOPs, driving automation, and new products structuring.
Qualifications / Skills- 7-9 years of experience in client-facing relationship management/business development corporate sales role in the leasing OR financial services industry (asset leasing companies/banks/NBFC/rating agencies/venture debt firms/VC/PE firms).
- Experience in team management.
- Understanding of credit risk management, financial analysis, due diligence etc.
- Superb communication and negotiation skills.
- MBA/CA from a premier B school / Top Tier College.
- Excellent stakeholder/people management skills (both internal and external).
- Ability to build, scale and improve processes.
The estimated salary for this role is around ₹50-80 lakhs per annum, depending on location and experience.
