Sourcing & Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

A challenging role for a seasoned procurement professional with strong technical skills and expertise in managing end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring seamless collaboration with teams, suppliers, and customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review material requirements and specifications, create purchase requisitions, and manage purchase orders to meet project timelines.
  • Experience in reviewing and releasing purchase orders, reconciling purchase orders, resolving supplier queries, and expediting critical orders.
  • Maintain accurate master data and updates to ensure efficient procurement processes.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions.
  • Establish and monitor processes for issue management, change management, and quality management to drive business excellence.
  • Organize timely meetings between teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Prepare comprehensive project status reports and submit to senior management and customers for review and approval.
Requirements:
  • Strong team management, stakeholder management, escalation management, and performance review management skills.
  • Experience in monitoring/managing supplier information to optimize procurement strategies.
  • End-to-end experience in procure-to-pay cycle to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in RFx process to streamline procurement operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical skills to identify trends and areas for improvement.
