About this Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Lease Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring complete and accurate financial close, internal and external reporting, and the end-to-end lease cycle.

The successful candidate will have expertise in lease accounting, including classification, analysis, and documentation of all activity in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policy and procedures. They will also possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Shared service / centralized lease accounting close and reporting process, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policy and procedures.
  • Support end-to-end lease accounting process by maintaining proper accounting and documentation of all activity in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Perform analysis of legal documents and determine lease classification in accordance with U.S. GAAP ASC 842.
  • Review lease classification testing in accordance with U.S. GAAP ASC 842.
  • Collaborate with senior staff on a regular basis.
  • Complete month-end close processes including subledger work in general ledger entries, internal and external financial reporting deliverables.
