Key Responsibilities
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in modeling, pivot tables, and data visualization tools is essential for success in this position.
  • Accounting Knowledge: The ability to read, interpret, and analyze property-level and portfolio-level financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) is crucial for making informed decisions.
  • Analytical Mindset: A proactive approach to evaluating asset performance vs. budget and historical benchmarks, identifying key trends, anomalies, and KPIs across financial statements, synthesizing findings into actionable insights for the asset management team.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to actively question assumptions, seek clarity, and work independently to uncover causes and performance drivers with the help of operations and accounting.
  • Clear Communication: Effective communication of financial insights and operational observations to the team lead in a structured and concise manner.
  • Project Management: Ability to coordinate timelines, manage deliverables, and track progress across multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Collaborative Attitude: Comfortable working cross-functionally with property managers, leasing teams, finance, and ownership.
