Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and timely consolidated/standalone financial statements & reports.
  • Ensure review and timely issuance of Consolidated and Standalone Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity and Notes to accounts as per accounting standards and Schedule III as part of the period-end close process.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Data for compliance purposes.
  • Accounting for critical aspects ESOP, business combinations, trade deposits, etc.
  • Maintain extremely high standards of accuracy in representation of financial data and ensure timely and error-free statutory financial reporting.
  • Review and approve related party transactions schedule/reconciliation at period-end to ensure accurate consolidation of financials.
  • Review consolidated reports and reason analysis for key variances before circulation.
  • Assist internal and external auditors with smooth query resolution for issues related to consolidation.
  • Provide recommendations to improve current consolidation process by reducing turn-around-time (TAT) to improve reporting speed and efficiency.
  • Develop strong relationships with other working groups through a 'customer-centric' and 'partnership approach.'
  • Error-resolution performed to high standards, within reasonable timeframes, and with end-user satisfaction in mind.
  • Effective participation in the team and building of a strong team culture.
  • Maintenance of fixed asset register and coordination in physical verification of assets.
  • Working of lease accounting as per IND AS 116 and control of lease asset schedule.
