L1 Field Support Engineer Position

Job Summary:

This role involves providing technical support to users across the organization, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Key responsibilities include installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-Site and Remote Support: Provide on-site and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot operating system and application-related issues (Windows, MS Office, email, etc.).
  • Hardware and Software Management: Install, configure, and upgrade end-user hardware and software as per IT policies.
  • Active Directory Management: Manage user accounts, access rights, and group policies in Active Directory.
  • Connectivity Support: Support connectivity issues including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and IP telephony.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCSA, or ITIL Foundation are highly valued. Additionally, experience supporting mobile devices and collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.) is essential.
