Job Opportunity

The position of Technical Lead involves overseeing and guiding the technical aspects of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network L2 Tasks:
    • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (switches, routers, VLANs)
    • Manage IP addresses and resolve conflicts
    • Liaise with WAN management teams for troubleshooting
    • Provision and de-provision network links
    • Manage network configurations, backups, and restores
    • Analyze capacity and bandwidth trends and set proactive alerts
    • Optimize network performance and threshold settings
    • Update network topology after changes
    • Collaborate with Hands and Feet teams for physical checks
  • Server L2 Tasks (Windows + Linux):
    • Resolve disk space issues and troubleshoot remote servers
    • Diagnostics and patching at the OS level (Windows/Linux)
    • Troubleshoot server crashes or system errors
    • Manage user access and permissions
    • Monitor CPU, memory, and disk health
    • Collect and analyze logs for incidents
    • Manage virtual servers and scaling
    • Support high availability and disaster recovery configurations
    • Maintain print queues on print servers
  • Grafana Admin Tasks:
    • User Management: Create, update, and delete user accounts. Assign roles and permissions to users.
    • Dashboard Management: Create and manage dashboards, visualizations.
    • Alerting: Set up and manage alerts. Ensure alerts are configured correctly and notifications are sent to the appropriate users.
    • System Monitoring: Monitor the health and performance of the Grafana instance. Escalate to L2 team of client.
    • Backup and Restore: Perform regular backups of Grafana configurations and data. Restore data from backups when necessary
    • Documentation: Maintain documentation for Grafana configurations, dashboards, and processes. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to users.

  • Strong technical background with experience in network administration and server management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with Grafana and related tools
