Job Overview

We seek a seasoned professional to spearhead price research initiatives for the global ferroalloys and bulk ores markets, with a focus on India.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly market analysis and provide in-depth reports on ferroalloys and bulk ore prices, concentrating on the Indian market.
  • Play a pivotal role in launching new price assessments, defining specifications, and gathering industry feedback.
  • Produce news content highlighting trends and developments in the ferroalloys and bulk ores sectors, collaborating with experts in Africa and Europe.
  • Write periodic articles addressing key industry issues, such as regulatory updates, geopolitical events, investments, project pipelines, and ESG matters.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders, sharing market intelligence and sourcing valuable insights.
  • Participate in business development, supporting account managers in sales processes by maintaining sales pipelines and contributing to sales efforts.
  • Represent the organization as a public face in the ferroalloys space, engaging with clients, stakeholders, and media outlets.
Key Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in the steel or steel raw materials industries and/or markets.
  • Experience in covering ferroalloys, bulk ores, or related markets as a journalist, analyst, or price reporter.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated impact and influence abilities.
  • Strong quantitative skills are advantageous.
  • Exemplary written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within a team while sometimes operating independently.
  • Ability to manage others while maintaining personal productivity.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering is advantageous.
